Remember Today @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hello there again my friends! I have another scrapbook page to share with you. Meanwhile the Mixed Media Challenge is still running at STAMPlorations blog. You still have ample time to submit your mixed media (non cards) projects and stand a chance to be winners.

Here's sharing a layout of my little girl. I love to scrap this young lady because she doesn't mind mamarazi with her camera any time any where. This photo was taken in the express bus going back home up north last December after spending some five weeks holidays with her grandmother down south.
Some up-close photos:
 I made the circles using retro circles stencils by applying texture paste and when dried, doodle some circles. I can't do without water coloring my page because painting has always been my passion so water color paints is part of my life. Here I used Kaisercraft water color paints...love love love them so much!
I have used several Kaisercraft patterned paper collection ~ Telegraph Road, Sweet Nothing, Kaleidoscope and BeYoutiful for this layout and paper flower making as well as Fancy Flourishes stamps, pearls and butterfly die cut to add more sweetness {smile}

I will have to say I regularly use Carla Craft leave punch almost every time I need some leaves {smile}. I have some other leaves punches and dies but I love this particular punch so much. Other than that, the sentiments in Kaisercraft 6x6 paper pads never fail me.
I have used this lovely sketch from Kaisercraft:
The color pallet at Berry71bleu is very attractive to me and combined them all:
That's it for today. I thank you for dropping by and will do my best to return the favor.
I shall be back soon with a masculine card creation tomorrow.

The Most Beautiful @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday and wish you all good health and prosperity. I'm fine and just a little bit tired from clearing the kitchen as we are in the middle of installing cabinet and this may take a week or so to get done by the professional team.

Sharing my make this time is a layout of my eldest daughter. We did a photo shoot on the last day of school break while visiting my in-laws two weeks ago. It's been a while I make her layouts and thought some new photos would be ideal for her scrapbook album. I went inside to keep my camera but she stayed outside playing with my phone and selfie-d herself...teenager...lol!  She excitedly showed me some selfie photos and I just love this one the best with the sun shined from behind creating semi circle sun ray.
I decided to change into black and white for this project. Perhaps next one will be similar photo but let it be a color one.

So there, finally a layout of her she's been waiting for.
'Alyaa lives at boarding school will be home on April 28. Well I am eager to see her reaction when she sees this.
I hope she likes it and feel satisfied. Well what do you think?
Some up-close photos:

 I die cut paper to make some blooms and leaves.
The butterflies are stamped and fussy cut. I used watercolor pencils to give them some brightness.
Quote by Mark Twain from Kaisercraft paper pad. Doodling the stenciled leaves with black gel pen.
My layout used this fabulous sketch from Bumaga-Maraka challenge:
The colors from Mixed Media Warriors pallet caught my eyes. I chose green moss, brown and yellow to go along with black.
And trying my luck at Free-Works Blueberry-Nights challenge:

Meanwhile, the monthly challenge at STAMPlorations March Mixed Media challenge is still running until end of this month. You can create to your heart content but no cards please. See you there.
Have a great week ahead and wishing you the best in life and undertakings.

Make A Wish Art Journal & Tutorial @ ARTplorations

{My DT work for ARTplorations}

Hello everyone! Firstly a huge welcome to my new followers-cum-friends Deepti Aggarwal and Mary Catt...nice knowing you ladies {smile}.
Today I'm showing you the first spread from my children's art journal book. With four blessings I know I will enjoy filling up the pages with more loveliness and their childhood photos {smile}.
You can find step by step tutorial at ARTplorations blog. Click here.
The little girls are my first born 'Alyaa and her baby sister Anis in 2004. I can't stop giggling looking at the baby's mischief expression while her four years old sister guard her from falling off the sofa {fussy cut it already}. Well, baby loves exploring and climbing but knows no danger u? Aaaah, those were the days.
I am inspired by the mood board colors at Mixed Media Place Dream On challenge which I have selected pink and blue and of course black including butterflies {love them forever}.
I also get inspirations from 13arts Angels challenge:

I sincerely hope you will get some inspirations from my art journal today.
Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Who You Are Makes You Special @ TTCRD

{My DT work for TTCRD}

Hi everyone! Wish you all sweetness and happier moments in your daily living. I'm getting back my good health again after fighting a fever and going through a week of excruciating mouth ulcer pain that was so discomfort and swallowing food was uneasy. It was just water and lots of water plus soft food mostly porridge and soup. Today I am up and about feeling so happy because my beloved Mother has seen the eye specialist on March 16th who is satisfied with her eyes condition after the laser eyes surgery to remove cataracts in both eyes on March 3rd. I'm so happy to look straight into her crystal clear eyes once again and see her true happiness.

So here I am to share with you my card made as my dt work for Through The Craft Room Door current challenge. Same theme Anything Goes as always.
 This week we are sponsored by A Day For Daisies and you may stand a chance to win $12GC to their store if you join our challenge.

All GREAT Things @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Good morning and a happy Sunday!
Sharing a scrapbook page I did as part of my design team work for STAMPorations March Mixed Media Challenge. You can create anything you wish but please no cards and must use stencil/s {don't have to be stencils from ARTplorations though}.

This layout features my little girl when she was about 5 years old laying on raked leaves and playing in the backyard while I was gardening.
I have used blossom like a butterfly stamps and applied modeling paste through retro circles stencil.
Here are some close-up photos:

I made the resin from plaster ceiling powder some months back. They come handy when I need them {lol}. I placed a key underneath the resin but my little girl commented that I should painted the key black, hmm, maybe she's right. After all this is her layout.
My big girl carved a circle shape on an eraser during art class and gave it to me when she's done stamping her project for the teacher. Works great too {smile}.
I am inspired by the challenge at Rubber Dance:
And also in the keys challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo:
If you wish to participate in STAMPlorations March Mixed Media Challenge, please add the graphic below in your post to be eligible for the prize.
Until then, thanks for dropping by and have a blessed Sunday.
